Card of the Day - 10/21

We are continuing to use the Halloween Tarot by Kipling West for the entire month of October.

I feel like my readings are morphing a bit. So please bear with me as I transition. :)

Today's Card: 5 of Bats (Swords) is about how we are focusing in winning and not taking other's feelings or thoughts into consideration

Shadow Card: Ten of Ghosts (Cups) this is the happy family card.

Top Card: Justice is about weighing the scales. It is sometimes about legal situations

We are in a situation where our mind is focused on what we alone want. (Five of Bats) and we are looking at our adversaries (or just the other person in the situation) as clown-like. Are we looking down on other's because they don't quite live up to our expectations? Maybe they don't see things as clearly or rightly as we do.

The girl in the 10 of Ghosts is reaching for one of the small ghosts suspended by wires. To me I see this as us reaching for spirit. And since this girl can so easily reach this brass ring I see this as spirit opening the veil to the point where where even the so called "unpsychic" can reach it.

So these two cards ask you to stop being prideful about how hard it was for you to contact spirit. Because you worked at it. You tried over and over until one day you managed to master it. Now with the barriers lowered, even normal people can reach out and contact spirit. And that can make us a little angry. It feels unfair. (Justice) There is something called the 100 monkey syndrome. When a certain percentage of the population learns something suddenly everyone in the population can do it.

We need to stop looking down on others who have not yet connected to spirit or their spiritual team. We need to let down our barriers and lend a helping hand raising them up to our level. This isn't a race or a contest and whomever connects best or longest wins.  You made a deal when you came to earth. You were to be a way-shower. As you help others gain their connection to spirit, the scales will tip and suddenly everyone will be able to access this state if connection. And isn't this what we've all been working toward?

Blessings.
