Working through past life issues

Past life

We each hold our past experiences within our subconscious memory, and carry these subconscious memories from one life into the next.
Your past influences the way you currently react to and experience life.
A current issue affecting your life and your relationships stems from a fear you developed in a past life.

Compassion

Kuan Yin, known in Buddhism as the goddess of compassion and mercy, has shown up in your reading today to ask you to be more compassionate towards yourself.
She asks you to reflect on the many times you have critical thoughts about yourself.
Make an effort to replace these negative thoughts with positive and loving ones.

Purity

At the heart of every being dwells infinite wisdom and love.
However, the purity of our wisdom is often clouded and distorted as we grow older.
As a newborn baby enters this life, it feels only oneness.
It does not feel separate to the world but part of it.
This feeling of oneness stems from the fact that at a soul level, all is one.
As your soul incarnated into the physical world, you had an awareness of “self” but you were aware also that you are a part of everything else around you.
In the very early stages of life, this feeling of oneness prevails.
However as the duality of the physical world takes hold, the feeling of oneness fades and becomes a distant memory that we subconsciously crave for the rest of our lives.
It is essentially a yearning to reconnect with the pure essence of our soul.

This card is here to remind you that you are in essence a spiritual being and that it is time to reconnect to the infinite peace, love and wisdom you hold within you.
If you have been struggling to find a sense of fulfillment or purpose in life, remember, that which you seek cannot be found in material world, it can only be found by looking within.
Set aside some time each day for prayer and meditation.
Open your heart and you will rediscover the purity of being which has the capacity to transform your life.

Seven of Swords

This is about being a lone wolf or running away from responsibility. Sometimes it means gossip or thievery or being deceived in some way. I think the Psychic
Tarot calls it Envy.

The Devil

This is all about being controlled by something. Accepting something as it is when you know you don't want it to be that way. Feeling as if you "have to" do something that feels against your will. It's about staying in this form of ignorance and just letting it happen. Fearing the unknown and foreseeing a bleak future. It also can harbor a feeling of hopelessness.

Six of Cups

This is all about  being nostalgic for the past. Thinking of people from your past. It can also mean good will or innocence. One tarot has an image where you are passing on your knowledge to someone younger and it makes you think of your past and how you were at that age.

Dionysus

He is the god of wine, drink and frivolity.

My Take...

You are currently working through energies from a past life and wrapped up that stuff in a nice bow. and it is bringing forth a new sense of compassion and a purity that is almost like a clean slate. You're shiny and new and more compassionate than ever. But things are going to come up to try and knock you off your new shiny path. It will come in the form of deception and control issues from others. This asks you to look to your past and see the error of your ways or how you handled similar things. Let the deception slide off your back. Someone that is coming in may not know any better as they are acting in ways that are almost drunken or addictive. Have that compassion and you should remain on the path.
